Spider-Mannotations: Amazing Spider-Man #673

Alas, we've come to the end of Spider-Island, with a mere single issue to go.  Dry your eyes and read on!

Amazing Spider-Man #673

Page 1: Carlie Cooper got that tattoo while somewhat inebriated in ASM #660.

Page 2: Damage Control, created by Dwayne McDuffie and Ernie Colon, is the construction company that repairs super-battle collateral damage.  So the next time you wonder who keeps rebuilding Manhattan after super villains trash it, the answer is always Damage Control.

I just answered that, dude.

Page 4: The Jackal has cheated death at least twice before by having clones die in his place, in Amazing Spider-Man #149 and Maximum Clonage Omega.

Page 5: Aunt May moved to Boston with her new husband, J. Jonah "Jay" Jameson Sr., in ASM #665.

Page 6: Aunt May knew Eddie Brock from their time volunteering at the FEAST homeless shelter - indeed, she even witnessed his first transformation into Anti-Venom.

Page 12: "Lily" is Lily Hollister, Carlie's childhood friend who grew up to be the treacherous super villain Menace.

Yes, her hair dye survives the transformation process.  I wrote her OHotMU profile, and even I don't know how.
(Amazing Spider-Man #595, written by Joe Kelly, art by Phil Jiminez and Andy Lanning)

Page 13: Carlie is a roller derby enthusiast, and taught a clumsiness-faking Peter to skate in ASM #652.

And that's a wrap!  Spider-Island was great, and I wouldn't have devoted the time to Spider-Mannotating it if it wasn't one of the best Spider-Man stories of all time.

But then that brings us to this - what do you, the readers, want me to do next?  Should I annotate the next big Spider-crossover, Ends of the Earth?  Or should I annotate every subsequent issue of Amazing Spider-Man?  And what about the spinoff titles: Avenging Spider-Man, Venom, and Scarlet Spider?  Unlike Madame Web, I can't read minds, so tell me in the comments!
